The ship is a very nice restaurant. It is one of my favourite place to eat steak. I love their snails and their ice cream. Their decor is very nice and it feels like you are in a cruise ship. One time in the Christmas seasons, they gave me a mug for free. The problem is that, one time I ask for well done steak but they gave me medium-rare instead. I ask them to bring back to the kitchen to fry the steak until it is well done but when they come back, it was still medium rare. I did not ask for them to fry the steak a another time because it is wasting my time and I am very hungry. But I recommend to go this place if you have a family or a love one

The Ship claims they have the best steak in town. I won't argue. Being in the business for quite sometime now, this branch in PJ is a strategically placed. I always like my steak medium rare. The Ship does that perfectly. Whether it is rib eye or porterhouse, the doneness of the steak is perfect! Though the restaurant offers lobster, you may want to pass on that. When I had lobster a couple of weeks back, I felt my piece was under-seasoned. The meat was also on the verge of being too chewy. It was okay-ish but I have had better lobster somewhere else. Summing up, their steaks are perfect bar none. The steaks are presented as they should be -- wonderfully cooked and without overpowering gravy. Lea and Perrins can be requested. It gives a new dimension to the steak.

A few months back, the boyfie and I decided to celebrate his first pay check at The Ship. We hardly ever fine dine. In fact, we're actually your hill billy kinda couple. So I kinda consider this one of our rarer fine dining moment. Thus, this place holds a special place in my heart. The interior was AMAZING. I absolutely loved the way the inside was designed like a ship. Even the waiters and waitresses were decked top to toe in sailor uniforms. That aside, we both ordered lunch set courses. For appetizers, we had a good bowl of mushroom soup dipped with delicious garlic bread. For the main course, I had western chicken chop while he ordered ham steak with pineapple. I must say the combination of the tender ham and the sweet juicy pineapple was delightful. After the filling meal, we were served fruits as dessert. Each course set was about rm30. Not bad for the kind of ambience and service we received. All in all, I was a very happy girl that day. Would I come back? Definitely! Can't wait to try other things on the menu.
